Dear Friends of FCA, 

 Hello!  Thank-you for partnering with the ministry of  The Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  My name is Ted Brunner and I have been serving with FCA in the Upper Bucks/Montgomery County on a part-time basis for the past four years.  We have been blessed to see how great a God we serve as He graciously impacts lives through the ministry of FCA.  I am thankful to say that as of July 1^st, I began to serve full-time as Area Director of the Lehigh Valley and the Upper Bucks/Montgomery region.  The journey to full time has been long, incredible and filled with  life-lessons.  There is no question in our minds that God’s timing is perfect in now opening the door to serve Him full-time with FCA.

It is an absolute privilege and blessing to walk onto the campuses of so many of our area schools and partner with students, teachers, and coaches who see their hallways as their mission field.  We also rejoice in seeing God use our camp ministry to sharpen athletic skills and clearly share the Gospel of Christ to many (we just had over 470 campers at Kutztown University last month!)   We are preparing for the 2010-11 school year and want to continue to share Christ’s love on school campuses by holding huddles (Bible studies), charity outreach events, and national events.   Thank you again for having blessed this ministry through prayer and your finances.  It is vital to have friends like you remain on the FCA home team in the Valley.  Our passion is to see people reached for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.  I’m thrilled to be in a position to serve your region on a full-time basis. Please feel free to give me a call/email in relation to any questions you may have regarding the minsitry of FCA and ways that you can serve the Lord through FCA!  The passage I leave you with is found in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12…Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts.  For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.  Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm?  And if somebody overpowers one person, two can resist him.  A cord of three strands is not equally broken.   What a picture…this 3-stranded rope represents the strength we forge together, in Christ.  May God bind us together as we continue to explore ways to serve Him through FCA in the Lehigh Valley!
