This Coach Will Have an Impact
Because it came just as the Michael Vick signing dominated the news and high school football practice was getting started, Jerald Brown didn't get a lot of attention when he was hired as Easton's girls basketball coach a few weeks back. But I have a feeling you're going to hear a lot about - and from - this former Texas A&M basketball star once the hoops season approaches.
Brown, who grew up in Houston, likes it here and wants to make an impact here. He has some different, refreshing ideas about how the game should be played. Brown has made helping others his life's work as the director of the Lehigh Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes. When he's not preaching hoops, he's preaching about what he feels is important in life. His spiritual life is very important to him and has kept him on the right path.
